I'm as free as my hair!

I love this behind the scenes video of Gaga’s Vogue cover shoot. I’ve loved her “Hair” song so much over the last year, but haven’t been able to find a video that could be posted on my blog until now. I love the hair pieces, wind machines, and light heartedness of the video. And most of all, I love how hair gives you such an endless way to express yourself!

Photographer Inspiration

Ellen Von Unwerth is an incredible photographer. She mostly takes dreamlike photos of pretty women in their underwear. The colors, styling, make up and hair are all perfection. I could look through her portfolio for hours because I’m so inspired by the hair! It’s teasey and curly and sexy and everything else-y I love!
I am in love with this woman’s work. Here are some of my favorite photos.

Shine on

Now that my hair is sort of getting long again, I’m dealing with dry ends. I have to trim it pretty frequently, or it looks like cotton candy..the bad kind. (the bad kind consists of any kind that you wouldn’t eat.)
Anyway, when my hair loses its luster, I turn to artificial luster.
Basically I love shine sprays and serums.
Particularly:

Redken Vinyl Glam
This one gives you a spritz. It’s very shiney and light and goes great on dry hair. This is best for medium to thick hair. Gives you an awesome shine, and your hair will almost sparkle!

Tigi Headrush
This is an aerosol spray and goes on light as air, so it works for any hair type. It works best on air-dried/blow-dried hair. Smells amazing too!

Pureology Shinemax Serum
This is great to put in wet hair before syling, or on dry hair to smooth out frizziness. Best serum I've ever tried!
